Tasting:

He said: Clear light straw color with a greenish cast. Vanilla bouquet. Somewhat smooth and creamy, citrus taste and lots of oak, with a medium long finish that carries through with a tart ending. The lively acidity adds to the delicious crispness. This is easy drinking and has all the characteristics of classic California oaked Chardonnay. It would be fun to taste this and (our standard for oaked California Chardonnay) Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chardonnay at the same time.

She said: Can you look a gift horse in the mouth? Of course not, and this wine was a good reason to enjoy a great wine full of vanilla flavor. This oaked Chardonnay oozed with a fragrant bouquet and flavor full body and tasty finish just like one of our favorites, Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chardonnay.
