Tasting:

He said: Great Chardonnay. Clear light yellow color. Fresh apple bouquet. Full body with strong oak and vanilla taste that continues into a nice finish. This is a traditional full body Chardonnay that is quite fruity and always pairs well with heavy chicken meals. We’ve had many bottles of this Chardonnay and it’s consistently the same…almost as if it’s made with a chemical formula!!! At $6.97 it’s an OUTSTANDING Chardonnay.

She said: Vanilla bouquet. Full body and smooth creamy flavor that continues into a long finish. The vanilla and oak are so prominent you have to wonder if it was added with an eye dropper! My favorite inexpensive Chardonnay.

Comments: Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chardonnay has been our standard for good quality at an inexpensive price for more than 10 years. Wine Spectator listed it in their annual top 100 wines and it’s available in grocery stores throughout the country.
