Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear wheat straw color. Very strong aromas of melon, citrus and wet gravel with intermittent hints of lily floral. Smooth, very slightly creamy and fresh mouthfeel, medium body and a 100-grit texture. Substantial mineral core with fresh lemon, grapefruit and melon intertwined. Especially noteworthy was the taste of salty spray blown off the wave tops by a strong gusty wind. Plenty of fresh acidity and a long slightly tart melon and grapefruit tasting finish. WOW, WOW, WOW…a mineral-driven Spanish white that was easy drinking and filled with flavors and textures. An exceptional Albariño…this was so fresh and complex it totally blew us away, it was jumping up and down good!!! We called it simply stellar Albariño.
