Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark ruby color with the same color rim. Intense yet gentle raspberry, cherry and spicy aromas. Smooth, dry and light mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 150-grit texture. Earthy flavors of raspberry, cranberry, cherry and strawberry. Scrumptious fresh acidity, well integrated tannins that clearly had grip and a long bitter fruit finish. WOW, what a fantastic “week-night” BARGAIN wine. Everything was an A-plus, and no it didn’t have the depth and complexity of a more expensive Italian wine, but it was delicious. No rough edges, no over fruitiness and no sharp tannins that we expected in a $13 Italian red. This gets Four Thumbs up, a Quality wine at a Bargain price rating and a VERY POSITIVE recommendation from TastedOnline.com. It’s a buy by the case everyday table wine!!!
