Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, very, very pale wheat straw color with a slight green tint. Light aromas of apple, lemon, quince and wet crushed gravel. Smooth, dusty dry mouthfeel, medium body and a 200-grit texture. Tart quince, apple, melon and dominating mineral flavors. Fresh acidity and a long almost bitter lemon finish that ended with an extended salty-like mineral taste. WOW, a very unusual Chardonnay that had a robust mineral character. It had an alpine look and with its yellow delicious apple taste and soft mouthfeel was both easy drinking and refreshing. We called it an EXCELLENT value Italian Chardonnay.
