Tasting:

He said: Opened and corked 24 hours (this was the second tasting of what was left over from dinner the night before); served chilled. Light wheat straw color. Light apple and early Spring morning floral aromas. Refreshing lemon, citrus and mineral taste that continued through the long, dry, crisp finish. Sensual Chardonnay but not great with the very rich crab imperial…drinking alone it was fabulous and I loved the mineral taste.

She said: With a slight apple aroma and delicate taste the wine did not stand up to the strong flavor or richness of the crab for me. It’s medium body and very tasty finish were delicious and I would recommend it as a very good sipping wine, but not with the crab imperial dinner.
