Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, Very, very light wheat straw color. Light pear, lime and honeydew melon aromas with hints of floral. Smooth, with a slightly creamy and chalky mouth-feel; layers of rich ripe fruit flavors that give a subtle intensity to the taste. A WOW finish changes to delicious acidity, slight tartness and lots of smooth melon. In a word…this was SPECTULAR white burgundy. It may have lacked a strong bouquet, but made up for it with perfect balance and layers of flavors that went on and on. A MEMORABLE white burgundy that was as good as it gets paired the seared tuna and OUTSTANDING drinking alone. It was just plain jumping up and down good!!!

She said: Light yellow green color, clear and sparkling, sparse slow moving legs. The aroma was mild but the flavor blossomed out into mouthful of tastes that were enhanced by a creamy mouthfeel without sweetness, a light body, smoothness, and a long finish that teased the palate with its delicacy. It went well with the diner, especially the tuna, and I would recommend it and buy it again although it was far from a bargain wine.
