Tasting:

He said: Opened 3-hours before drinking. Strong cherry, plum and oak aromas. POWERFUL, full body, fruit taste that continues through a very long dry finish. Triple WOW for this one. It’s a bouquet that really sets it up for something special, a taste that’s soft but intense enough to chew on and the lingering fruit finish just stays forever. It’s OUTSTANDING drinking alone and MEMORABLE with the steak…it is one HUGE wine.

She said: From the first sniff this wine was amazing! A strong red fruit bouquet got even better as it slid into a juicy, oaked full bodied flavor on the palate. The taste, dryness and tannins combined with the smooth long finish were simply delicious. Fabulous with the beef, it overwhelmed the crab but was so good I am not complaining. Although the alcohol content was 14.5 percent not a taste of the alcohol was evident. This is the kind of wine that can be enjoyed very slowly because every sip has a big impact in the mouth. Ray opened this wine 3-hours before we drank it but nothing can improve on perfection.
