Tasting:

He said: Chilled before opening. Clear, very light wheat straw color. Vibrant lemon, mineral and melon aroma. Crisp, medium/full body; lively taste with slightly creamy honey dew melon, lemon and mineral with a slight peppery character. A continuation of the aroma and flavor goes on and on through a long, acidic finish with tart citrus notes in the after taste. It’s clearly not your traditional “over oaked” California Chardonnay!!! FANTASTIC with the mushroom stuffed chicken and roasted potatoes, but good drinking alone. A UNIQUE California Chardonnay that’s a perfect combination of California and Burgundy.

She said: Clear, pale yellow color. Thin, irregularly spaced legs that were moving rapidly. Solid tart fruity aromas are followed by a dry medium bodied mouth-feel
that is smooth and tasty lemon and creamy pear. The tangy fruit finish was long and carried the taste through until the end with a touch of bitterness. Acidity and lemon carry on and define the after-taste. The wine was to die for with the chicken stuffed with mushroom pate and was good with everything else. It was a great pairing with the chicken and it gets my recommendation…I’d buy it again in a flash.
