Tasting:

He said: Slightly cloudy, dark red color with brown edges. Mild black berry and black cherry aromas with hints of damp earth. Strong black berry taste that carries through a lingering dry earthy finish. Smooth, easy drinking Cabernet with lots of body and delicious berry taste. There are a large number of choices for Cabernet at this price brake and I would put this one near the top of the group. For the price it’s a good Cabernet Sauvignon.

She said: Great wine for a leftover dinner and much more. He had left over meatloaf and I had left over pot roast; delicious with both. The bouquet was disappointing but the dark berry flavor, medium body and medium tannins were not. I savored every delicious dry mouthful and look forward to the next bottle. Very tasty wine from the first taste to the long lasting finish. At $20 it is to expensive to be a bargain wine but should be considered if more expensive Cabernet is in the budget.
