Tasting:

He said: Chilled before opening. Light golden color. Ripe melon aromas. Tropical fruit and apricot taste and a medium length finish. We had this at a tasting of Rickety Bridge wines and picked this one out as the “best” of all we tasted. I think we selected it from the others because we had just returned from South Africa and been drinking Chenin in Blanc and this was as good or better than any we had there and it was competitively priced at R68. In the end it was not bad South African Chenin Blanc.

She said: Clear with widely spaced thin legs that meander down. I had this the second day after it was opened. Mild aroma and a chameleon flavor that went well with the artichoke. With medium body and an almost creamy texture it delighted my palate. The finish was fairly long and had a touch of fresh tartness. At $10.99 I would have it again sipping with an artichoke.
