Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, almost colorless with just a pale lemon yellow tint. Light lime, fresh picked pears and honeysuckle aromas. Smooth, fresh and zesty mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 150-grit texture. Lime, lemon peel, hard apples and just a tiny touch of ginger flavors. Lots and lots of bright acidity and a long lively tart California grapefruit and quince tasting finish. WOW, fresh as a cold mountain stream and tantalizing as eating the first potato chip in the bag. Not your ordinary Chenin Blanc…this was very lean, dry and emphasizes ripe pear tastes. Excellent paired with the chicken marsala, but equally good sipping without food. We called it a delicious California Chenin Blanc.
