He said: Light straw color. Very light citrus and floral bouquet. Crisp, fruity taste with hints of pineapple and a strong medium-long finish that is fairly well balanced with a level of acidity that is strong, but quite pleasant. We have been drinking Meridian Chardonnay for 10 years and this 2011 vintage is not the same as older vintages that had lots of oak and vanilla. It’s still good and at under $5.00 a good buy.

She said: This wine has been a family favorite for years. When we are in California it is so cheap we become blase and forget how good it is. Yellow color, mild bouquet followed by creamy flavor with hints of vanilla. Medium body, nicely balanced, with medium long finish. Great Chardonnay for $4.50.
