Tasting:

He said: Light red color. Light black cherry bouquet. Dry, blackberry/fruity taste and slightly acidic with hints of something burnt in the finish. Held up very well with the tomato sauce lasagne. Rioja wines can be a great buy, but this one (and it’s a Reserva) is just on the edge so were not recommending it.

She said: Medium red color. Strong fruity bouquet followedby medium body with fruity flavor. Dry with firm tannins but acidic finish and a touch of bitterness. This was very tasty with the lasagne dinner but there are better Riojas for this price.
