Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, dark golden yellow color. Yeasty ripe melon and lime aromas. Smooth as silk, lots of crisp acidity and a slightly creamy medium body mouth-feel. Significant mineral back bone with fresh cut apple and apricot flavors and a long finish that was supercharged with flavors and really made the ending a WOW. It was a very SPECIAL Chardonnay. Great pairing with the salmon and fantastic drinking without food after the dinner. This was a wine where each sip opened new tastes and nuances. A SUPERB white Burgundy that was a FANTASTIC value.

She said: Clear, pale golden color. The scrumptious yeasty aroma set the stage for a similar flavor that carried through the mouth to the long finish. With abundant minerality on the palate, the wine was dry, pleasantly acidic and medium bodied. This was an amazing wine at $17.10 for its unique combination of flavors and mouth-feel. It was delicious with the dinner and I look forward to having it again (hint). Definitely a quality wine at $17.10.
