Tasting:

Chilled before opening. Clear oat straw color. Strong apple, honeydew melon, pineapple and fresh baked bread aromas. Smooth, creamy and chalky mineral mouthfeel, medium to full body and a 150-grit texture. Yellow apple, honeydew melon, salty ocean spray and lemon flavors with a brawny limestone mineral structure. Crisp acidity and a slightly bitter finish that was chalky, chewy and fruity. Excellent with the chicken dinner and especially good sipping without food. The strong mineral really make this unique and added complexity. Although it was subtle it had character from start to finish. Excellent Italian Chardonnay that’s a GREAT value.
