Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, very pale light yellow. Honeysuckle, floral and ripe melon aromas. Quite sweet, smooth bubbly taste (right to the very last sip) that ends in a medium length finish. Refreshing, but to sweet for my palate. “Not bad” (at best), but at only $10.19 it’s a much better value than the typical grocery store domestic “Champagne”.

She said: I am very partial to prosecco so take them very seriously. The label on the body said it had an aroma of delicate peach and white flowers, but I seriously doubt it had either. That is not say it did not have a good aroma. I totally enjoyed the floral scents accented by a bit of citrus. The taste followed the aroma and was a bit sweet although the label claimed it was extra dry. The over all sensation on the palate was light and airy but the sweetness became a bit clawing as time went on. I am sensitive to such sweetness and don’t like it but others might. Overall, this was a good wine if you like sweet sparkling wines but not so good for those who do not. At $10.19 it is a bargain wine for the group who like a slightly sweet sparkling wine.
