Tasting:

Opened and decanted one hour before drinking. Clear, purple/ruby color with a light ruby color rim. Robust blackberry, plum, raspberry and fresh brewed breakfast tea aromas. Bone dry, exquisite silky-smooth mouthfeel, full body and a 400-grit texture. Intense flavors of blackberry, plum, black olives and dark chocolate. Plenty of crisp acidity, substantial well-integrated smooth tannins and a long dry and fruity finish. WOW, WOW, this had FANTASTIC flavors, sumptuous mouthfeel and was a superbly balanced Petit Syrah. Great paired with the pork enchiladas and equal or better sipping without food. Vicky commented several times about the wonderful flavors in this wine. It was STELLAR Petite Syrah and although not inexpensive its price was very reasonable for the quality!!! Simply a GLORIOUS Petite Syrah every wine lover should taste.
