He said: Served chilled. Cloudy pale rose color. Strong damp earth and ripe red fruit aromas with just a hint of barnyard. Unusual, yeasty, strawberry fruit taste that continues through a medium-length, earthy finish. Not your ordinary Pinot Grigio…different color, different bouquet, fuller body and missing the crisp citrus taste; but it’s a delicious and VERY interesting wine!!! Excellent with the sweetness of the strawberries and ice cream, but not as good when drinking alone. This is one of those wines that I liked very much but was disappointed that is was not the Pinot Grigio I expected. An interesting wine that I recommend everyone try (at least once).

She said: There are some stereotypes that are hard to abandoned and this is one of them. To me Pinot Grigio is a white wine that is crisp and fruity. Not this one and in fact there is very little about this wine that would let you know it was a Pinot Grigio. First of all it is pink, cloudy pink at that. The aroma is faint but odd and the taste even more unique. On the other hand it is dry and was especially tasty with strawberries and vanilla ice cream. The finish is short and unremarkable. This is definitely a very different Pinot Grigio than I have ever had before, but well worth trying. At $19.80 it is not a bargain and I would hesitate buying it again preferring to try another unique wine instead. But if you want a new Pinot Grigio experience this is an excellent candidate.
