Tasting:

Opened and decanted one hour before drinking. Clear, ruby color with a light red rim. Strong cherry and lessor cranberry fruit and tar aromas with hints of distant floral and fresh plowed sod. Concentrated, rustic and potent mouthfeel, medium body and an 80-grit texture. Abundant yet delicate tart cherry, cranberry, licorice and strong breakfast tea flavors. Robust edgy acidity that’s well integrated, fine grained tannins that had a nice grip through the long dry uplifting raspberry fruit finish. WOW, WOW, WOW this was simply a perfect pizza wine, it was aromatic, overflowing with fruit flavors and really held its own with the strong pizza tastes. A much lighter taste than we expected and it’s drinking VERY WELL for such a young Nebbiolo. We called it an OUTSTANDING Nebbiolo that’s a FANTASTIC value.
