Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, wheat straw color. Very little aroma, but there were intermittent whiffs of melons in a hot sunny field and crushed gravel. Lively, very fresh and zesty mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 150-grit texture. Lemon, pear, peach and just a hint of quince flavors with mineral emerging at mid-palate. Overflowing with bright acidity and a long tart lemon and lime tasting finish. A nicely focused Chardonnay revealing a wonderful mix of fruit and savory mineral. Well paired with the quiche and the fresh acidity really made it an excellent sipping wine after the dinner. We called it a FANTASTIC value Chardonnay.
