Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Opaque, dark garnet color with a purple rim. Absolutely wonderful barnyard and ripe plum aromas. VERY SMOOTH, very rich dark fruit taste and a somewhat dry, dusty fruit finish. Really nice Malbec. Bordering on outstanding bouquet; silky, juicy flavors; and an interesting finish with lots of delicious fruit tartness. Excellent with the sausage in the dressing, OK with the dinner overall, but a GREAT Malbec, and at only $9.00 it’s a Quality Wine at a Bargain Price.

She said: This was a chance pairing that turned out well. No, it would not be my choice for the turkey because the wine overwhelmed it, but it was great with sausage dressing. A dark fruit aroma served as an introduction to the full fruity flavors that envelop the palate and persist into the medium-length finish. With a medium body the wine offers pleasant tannins with smoothness and the right amount of dryness to go with a variety of foods. At only $9.00 it is a bargain wine and I look forward to pairing it with a lamb dinner.
