Tasting:

He said: Dark garnet color. Dark cherry, plum and damp earth aromas. Tart, ripe cherry and lots of spicy taste that extends through the lingering mineral finish. The smooth, but prevalent tannins and richness of flavors made this a very delicious wine with the smoked beef. Not inexpensive but a VERY nice Malbec that I would quickly buy again. We also served a Domaine Font-Mars Cabernet Sauvignon Vin de Pays d’Oc 2011 with this dinner and the Malbec was the “favorite” of everybody.

She said: A delightful flavorful aroma with a whiff of sweetness leads to a medium bodied palate with medium tannins lasting into a long finish. Tasty with the dinner and enjoyed by all the company, but I have a cold and couldn’t fully appreciate it. As a result I would say it was “OK”, but I would look further at this price.
