Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark garnet/purple color with a lighter more purple rim. A little bit of a funky aroma with red fruit and zesty spice. Smooth entry, intense, dry, very tart dusty mouthfeel, medium body and a 150-grit texture. Dark fruit flavors with spicy pepper and clove. A high level of zippy acidity, surprisingly SOFT tannins and a finish that sparkles with mouthwatering bitter fruit sensations. From start to finish it was filled with savory fruit flavors and invigorating acidity that came alive with each sip. A true BARGAIN Portuguese wine.
