Tasting:

He said: Decanted after the first taste. Clear, deep ruby red color. Light dark fruit and barnyard aromas. WONDERFUL dusty, dry, rich ripe plum and cherry taste (that even has floral notes) that grows into a long finish that’s LOADED with fruit and nice acidity. Triple WOW!!! At under $15 this should be a FEATURED bargain wine. This is one of those wines that only comes along every now and then…it is so good from the first taste to the last, lots of fresh fruit and extremely pleasing mineral notes, all woven into a delicious complex structure. This goes into our very special category of a MEMORABLE wine below the $15 price point. It’s special, and we have two more bottles!!!

She said: This is a great wine! I know at the first sniff it had potential although at that point the aroma had a lot of alcohol. Ray decanted it and it rocked! Lots of barnyard flavor, full body, dry, and with a tasty finish. I could not believe that is was under $15 when Ray reveled the price tag. I loved it!

Comments: Spectacular with the “left over” grilled lamb.

Alcohol: 13.5%
