Tasting:

She said: Initial hints of alcohol in the aroma along with fruit and slight oak flavors. It filled the mouth with a full body and pleasurable tannins that lasted into the long finish that held on to the delicious flavors. I would like to enjoy this wine with bread and cheese and forget the dinner; it was a “licking your chops” good wine. Ray opened the wine about an hour before we drank it, but earlier would have been better as we found the wine improved dramatically over time. But the big news is about the pairing and there is only one word to describe it…”PERFECT”. The venison was dense and strong flavored and benefitted by being paired with a flavorful full bodied wine. Absolutely DELICIOUS!
