He said: Served chilled. Crystal clear, very, very pale yellow-green color. Light green apple and citrus blossom aromas. VERY smooth, but fairly strong fresh taste of green apple and citrus that continues on and on through a long finish. WOW, what an ELEGANT white wine!!! Outstanding with the salmon, and easy drinking after the meal. It’s light, dry, yet very flavorful, a tad creamy and with limestone mineral throughout…Pouilly Fumè is rapidly becoming a white wine favorite. This one is a VERY good buy and it gets two thumbs up from me.

She said: Clean, pure and clear taste are the words that come to mind as I sipped this lovely medium bodied wine. When I was also enjoying my dinner I thought the wine was like a fine champagne without the bubbles. The pale yellow color leads you to a tart green apple flavor that stays into the long finish. Smooth and dry it has a touch of bitterness in the end. At $17 it is to expensive to be a bargain wine but it is a VERY good Pouilly Fumè at this price.
