Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Brilliant dark golden color. Heavy aromas of apple, dried flowers, arugula and asparagus with hints of lemon and mango. Silky smooth, luxuriant creamy mouthfeel, full body and a 150-grit texture. Flavors of cooked apple, fresh picked green beans and black pepper all with a thin background of mineral. Crisp acidity and a long spicy finish. A rich, complex and substantial Gruner Veltliner that we thought was more of a winter white than the lighter citrus and fruity classic Gruner we usually drink. Excellent with the vegetable stir-fry and delicious drinking without food. It was a FABULOUS Gruner Veltliner.
