Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, dark golden yellow color. Yeasty, earthy, ripe melon and tropical fruit aromas. Smooth entry with crisp acidity and a medium body that had a slight creamy smoothness. Yeasty dry Rhone apple, tropical fruit and honey flavors carried past the long slightly tart mineral finish. A NOTEWORTHY and DELICIOUS Chenin Blanc…the acidity was refreshing and the flavors were rich and complex. Excellent paired with the salmon and sipping after the dinner was delightful. Chenin Blanc is one of my all-time favorites and in my book this was simply OUTSTANDING Chenin Blanc.

She said: Clear, golden yellow color. Mild tropical aroma with hints of yeast that lasted through the taste and was joined by a myriad of gentle tropical and citrus fruit flavors that caressed the palate. A medium body and almost creamy texture. The finish was long, smooth and full of flavor ending with a bit of tartness. It was delicious with the whole dinner as well as sipping alone afterwards. A quality wine at $28.80 and I would buy it again and upgrade the dinner accordingly.
