Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear dark wheat straw color. Diverse aromas of honeysuckle, lemon, sweet spice, apple and tropical fruit. Smooth, zesty mouthfeel, off dry, 150-grit texture and a medium body. Pronounced flavors of Granny Smith apple, banana, quince and lemon. Bright acidity and a long tart and minerally finish. Nice Chenin Blanc…it was refreshing, zesty and alluring enough that each sip encouraged another. Each time we have a Loire Chenin Blanc we comment that we should’t wait so long to have another and this is a good example of that. Excellent paired with the mild BBQ chicken, but equally good sipping after the dinner. Nice Chenin Blanc from Vouvray that’s an excellent value.
