He said: Opaque, dark purple color. Dark fruit aromas. Dry fruit taste and a long (mouth puckering) dry finish. VERY smooth, bone dry, wonderful strong dark fruit flavors, well balanced and only $9. As we said in our year end report this is an absolutely GREAT bargain wine. It doesn’t have the strong damp earth aromas the 2008 had; however, it has the same delicious full body and intense fruit. It’s simply an OUTSTANDING $9.00 wine and it gets our highest rating!!!
