Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, dark yellow color. Light pear and melon aromas with hints of fresh ground pine nuts. Luscious smooth entry, fresh but delicate and creamy, with slightly tart apple and lime flavors and a wonderful limey mineral finish that ends dry and crisp. This was sumptuous Chardonnay that paired well the Greek chicken, but was equally good drinking without food after the dinner. It was 6-years old and we bought it at a 2/11/14 Caviste wine dinner, but it was as good or better drinking now. In a nutshell I’d give it 9 stars out of 10!!! Simply FANTASTIC white Burgundy that I would recommend without reservation. This was a windfall value Chardonnay!!!

She said: Clear dark golden yellow color. Very faint aroma but the mouth experience makes up for it. Full of flavor, smooth and luscious, the wine is almost creamy but balanced with enough acidity to produce a delicious mellow result. The finish was long, full of flavor and ended with a slight tartness. The wine went well with the dinner and was also good sipping. A quality wine at $23.40.
