Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, light germanium red color. Powerful musty yeast and tart red fruit aromas. Smooth, bone dry and savory mouthfeel, light body and a 150-grit texture. Musty ripe pie cherry and tart cranberry fruit flavors with a strong background of the sour Mulberries we ate as kids and mineral, Very energetic crisp acidity, a tiny bit of soft, tannic structure and a long tart citrus and mineral finish. WOW, this was unusual Rosé wine. From the first sip the tart fruit really dominated the taste, but mixed with the strong acidity and just enough tannin it was a nothing short of great Rosé…especially with cheese. We called it Rosé with CHARACTER and we would recommend it in a flash.

Vines are trained in the traditional tendone style pergola in the Rabasco vineyard
