Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, red-salmon color. Wonderful aromas with lots of damp earth, wet wood and fresh fruit. Smooth as silk and lots of rich strawberry and watermelon flavors. Fantastic long finish that carries the fruit flavors on and on. WOW this is an OUTSTANDING rosé, and it’s from California!!! The mix of Grenache, Zinfandel and Barbera is just PERFECT…great bouquet, SUPER smooth mouth-feel and flavors that last way beyond each sip. Simply a Memorable Rose.

She said: Clear salmon color. As it stood in a glass on the table I really didn’t need to drink it to know this was an outstanding rose. The aroma overwhelmed me with its luscious scents and led seamlessly to a mouth full of flavor including a delicate strawberry taste that lasted into the smooth finish that was full of favor. This is the kind of wine that makes me dream of romantic adventures on foreign shores and envision the excitement of new love; yes even at 74. This is not a bargain wine but I highly recommends it as treat.
