Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, dark garnet color with a light brick red rim. Powerful ripe cherry, plum and leather aromas. Smooth, dry and medium-full body; lots of flavorful fruit, mouth filling, bright acidity and perfectly balanced taste that just goes on and on through the long finish. This is VERY SPECIAL wine…OUTSTANDING with the baked lasagna OUTSTANDING drinking alone after the dinner. IT WAS SIMPLY DELICIOUS, The drinkability was out of this world and nothing like traditional a big bold California wine!!! Another Broc wine that gets our “without reservation” recommendation. Fantastic wine and excellent value.

She said: Dark, ruby red, opaque, average looking legs with no zip (ray would never date a girl with “ankles so fat”. This is a WOW sort of wine that comes by only occasionally. It has a wonderful sweaty horse aroma that passes into a mouth full of fruity flavor that is smooth and lasts into the long finish. The body is fairly light but the flavor is so intense that the over all experience is very positive. This wine went exceptionally well with the lasagna but also was delicious with the salad, a big positive for me since I eat a lot of salads. True, it is not in the bargain range, but still a high quality wine that’s well worth the price.
