Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Crystal clear, ruby/brick red color with a lighter brick red rim. Wonderful cherry aromas. Smooth, medium-light body and dry; lots of cherry and a touch of raspberry taste that just slowly goes into a long finish with very soft tannins. WOW, great balance and VERY, VERY easy drinking. With the cheese it was OUTSTANDING, drinking alone it was DELICIOUS and it was a SUPER value. Fantastic “week-night”. Another STEAL-OF-A-DEAL from the Caviste Wine Shop!!!

She said: The fruity aroma comes forth with zest and then gives way to similar flavors in the mouth with the addition of a dry tasty mouth-feel and medium body. The tannins are soft and the finish is long and fruity. This wine goes down smoothly and anticipates the next sip. A very good buy at $11.70, proving that you can get a very good wine for under $15 and the Caviste has it!
