Tasting:

Opened 90-minutes before drinking. Clear, dark ruby/purple color with a light purple rim. Ripe plum aromas with hints of leather. Smooth, light to medium body; initially ripe dark fruit, than at mid-palate the cherry, plum and blackberry flavors become distinct and continue through the long finish that was filled with bracing acidity and structured tannins. SUPER Nebbiolo wine!!! Memorable with the mushroom sauce on the pasta, but equally good sipping after the dinner. Quite delicate for a Nebbiolo…it was light, supple, fresh and had a wonderful balance of acidity and tannins. A wine we both liked and one we would recommend without reservation. Outstanding Nebbiolo that’s a FANTASTIC value. The last sip was also a real treat with dark chocolate.
