Tasting:

He said:Chilled before opening. Clear, salmon color. Very nice earthy aromas with hints of floral. Slightly tart, ripe strawberry taste that continues all the way through the long, dry finish. Creamy mouth feel, lots of flavor and acidity and luscious minerals from start to finish. Very bold and vibrant rosé that is much like a red wine, in fact if I didn’t see what I was drinking my call would have been a light red like Pinot Noir or Beaujolais. It’s simply GREAT Italian rosé at a very good price.

She said: Light aromas with a touch of floral leads into a medium bodied taste that lasts into a long finish. The acidity tickles the palate and provides interest as the wine slides over the tongue. Very nice rose but not a great pairing with the dinner because it looses its identity with the onslaught of the pork flavor and sweetness of the carrots. Delicious Rosé.
