Tasting:

He said: Opened one-hour before drinking. Ruby red color with a light rim. Strong Fruit and smoky aromas. LOTS of dense ripe cherry fruit, spiciness and dryness in the taste that continues through a fairly long dusty dry finish that has just a touch of bitterness at the very end. Great bouquet, juicy taste, quite smooth, soft tannins and an absolute BARGAIN at only $11.70. Paired with the lasagna with meat and tomato sauce it was FANTASTIC!!! Easily fits into our Quality wine at a bargain price category.

She said: Ruby red color, almost opaque, lots of thin legs on the move. First sniff was not great, but the aroma quickly developed into a dark fruit scent. On the palate it was fruity, full bodied, smooth and dry with pleasant tannins. The finish is long but ends on a slightly bitter note. A great wine with red tomato sauce and a good value. Definitely a bargain wine at $11.70.
