Tasting:

He said: Deep, dark garnet color with a light rim. Rich, very ripe dark fruit (blackberry and plum) aromas. Powerful very ripe fruity flavors and delicious velvety texture. The finish is long, earthy, smooth and flavorful with perfect zippy tannins. What’s not to like with this wine…it’s simply OUTSTANDING at a bargain price. This is a wine I would buy by the case. Good with the ham dinner and good sipping after the dinner. A two thumbs up wine at a bargain price.

She said: Triple wow! This was an amazing treat. We were working on our honey baked ham and Ray said he was going to serve a Pinot Noir, one of his two favorite varietals. Imagine my surprise (and delight) when I tasted this with its huge black fruit aroma and taste, medium but supple tannins, full body, and long tasty finish. The sweetness of the ham, sweet potatoes and peas were perfectly matched by the wine. This is a great bargain at $8.10.
