Tasting:

He said: Opened just before drinking. Dark ruby red color. Light red fruity and smoke aromas. Smooth, dry, fruit and mushroom taste that continues all the way through the long finish that has just the slightest bitterness at the very end. A VERY nice Gamay wine that went well with the pork and the cheese after dinner. A little bit of complexity, smooth and delicious…in a word NICE.

She said: With a light dusty aroma that lead to a light subtle blend of flavors the wine was very good with the dinner. The light body and dryness with a lack of strong tannins accommodated the various constituents of the dinner although I admit to avoiding the apple sauce in favor of the wine. The strong blue cheese after dinner overwhelmed the wine while the other milder two were enhanced.
