Tasting:

He said: Opened 1-hour before drinking. Slightly opaque, dark garnet color with the same color rim. Musty fruit aromas with hints of oak and dried spice. Dry, medium to full-body with intense plum, blackberry, blueberry and licorice flavors that ends dry, dusty and with lots of bitter tar and spicy pepper. A very unpretentious red wine that has a confident character with it’s stout flavors, structured tannins and vague salty-like taste that continues long after the finish. If I had to describe it in a few words I’d say it was like a light Zinfandel. But no matter what you call it…this is an “all-time” FANTASTIC bargain Sardinian wine!!!

She said: Vicky is in California this week so we just have a “He said” review.
