Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. VERY aromatic with rich earthy blackberry and cherry aromas with hints of alcohol on the first pour. Silky smooth, savory, dry, with lots of fresh acidity and a strong medium body; cherry, blackberry, strawberry, dusty mineral and hints of tobacco flavors that continue on through a finish that’s packed with soft edged, perfectly structured tannins and delicious fruit taste. So easy drinking and it improved dramatically the longer it was uncorked…I should have decanted this bottle, but it was so good when it was opened I just couldn’t imagine how much more delicious it would become from the first taste to the last!!! This is a $20 wine I can’t say enough good things about…it’s simply OUTSTANDING!!! I put this into that very reserved category of memorable wines you nonchalantly took for granted until you had the first taste and find you have discovered a very special treasure.
