Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Opaque, dark ruby and purple color with a slightly purple rim. Powerful and earthy raspberry, blackberry and licorice aromas with lots of sweaty horse and leather. Smooth robust and slightly chewy mouthfeel, medium body and a 150-grit texture. Concentrated spicy and rustic flavors of wild wine berry, elderberry and blackberry with occasional hints of mineral. Robust bright acidity, alluring well integrated tannins and a medium-length raspberry finish. OUTSTANDING red table wine right from the first sniff when the cork came out of the bottle. The freshness and rustic character really made it special. We thought it was a FANTASTIC value “every-day” red wine that easily goes into our Quality wine at a Bargain price category..
