Tasting:

He said: Dark red, with a tad of brick red around the edge. Strong dark cherry with hints of currant and chocolate in the bouquet. Rich and intense ripe cherry and dark berry taste, great balance, pretty smooth and a medium/long dry finish. This borders on a memorable wine and at $8.00 it has to be called OUTSTANDING (in bold face). Great paired with the steak and blue cheese and one of the best classic Bordeaux wines we have had at this price.

She said: We usually drink wine from our all-purpose wine glasses, but when I had my first sniff of this wonderful wine I dragged out the big bowel ones that had to be hand washed. Hand washing is a small price to pay for this delectable wine!!! The bouquet warms you up for the delicious cherry flavor you are about to taste. Medium body with soft tannins and moderate acidity make it a good pairing with steak or red sauce pasta. Nice dry finish.

Comments: This wine is imported by Wine Without Borders in Burlington, North Carolina and may be difficult to find; however it’s worth some extra effort to locate it…this is a great bargain Bordeaux.
