Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, sparkling oat straw color with a slight green tint. Ripe apples, fresh baked bread and lime aromas with hints of Confederate Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) in full bloom. Silky smooth, rich creamy mouthfeel, very seductive, solid medium body and a 400-grit overall texture. Strong flavors of fresh baked apple pie, pink lemonade, ripe honey dew melon, and diluted lime juice. Fresh acidity and a long apple tasting finish, but the real treat was the complex tart after taste. A real WOW wine that was absolutely perfectly balanced. Fantastic with the chicken tagine dinner, but just as intriguing and captivating sipping after the dinner. The mouthfeel of the wine perfectly matched the taste and texture of the dinner. We started with the wine being cold and succinct and ended with a heavier, creamier wine with robust apple tastes. Clearly not a typical fresh and crisp Loire Valley Sancerre, but it was absolutely ENTICING!!!
