Tasting:

Chilled before opening. Crystal clear with an oat straw color. Slightly musty apple, citrus and freshly cut grass hay aromas. Silky smooth entry, dry, lively & zesty, strong medium body and a 400-grit texture. Flavors of ripe apple, peach, lemon, orange, roasted nuts and occasional tastes of tropical sweetness. Crisp acidity and a long melon tasting finish that leaves glimmers of a sweet tropical fruit and mineral in the mouth. WOW, what a flavorful wine…every sip found new tastes and the fresh finish was simply fantastic. Excellent paired with the cilantro pesto sauce shrimp, the acidity cut right through the olive oil in the pesto and the tiny amount of honey in the pesto worked well with the orange and tropical tastes in the wine. GREAT Spanish Verdejo that’s a super value.
