Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Light wheat straw color. Strong grapefruit aromas. Intense citrus taste that has lots of acidity and carries into the finish with a slightly bitter ending. Very potent New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. OK with the dinner and a bit overpowering alone. Compared to last nights Sauvignon Blanc the citrus flavor and acidity were to strong for my palate.

She said: I eat this dinner with the cabbage salad on top of the chicken so the flavors mix. The wine was decent with dinner, complementing the acidity and flavor. Sipping the wine after dinner was disappointing. The grapefruit flavor was overpowering and became a negative as it continued into the finish. I can’t recommend it for either the dinner or for sipping even at the low price.
