Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Crystal clear, very light lemon yellow color. Ripe melon with hints of lemon and dusty crushed stone aromas. Unusual wine, it starts smooth, soft and dusty, but at about mid-palate it develops a refreshing crisp acidic persona than finishes with a strong dusty mineral character. Fantastic apple and lemon flavors with just a touch of honeysuckle and tropical fruit, lots of depth and a persistent mineral that really makes it special Chenin Blanc. Excellent no matter how you describe it.

She said: Clear, pale straw yellow color, thin evenly spaced rapidly moving legs. Airy, fruit aromas develop into a very fruity flavors that give a sense of sweetness. The mouth-feel was dry and medium bodied with a touch of bitterness as it passes over the palate. The finish was long, somewhat better, mixed with a touch of fruitiness. The wine went well with the dinner and complemented the crab beautifully. Quality wine at $20.70.
