Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, with a sparkling pale watermelon color. Wonderful earthy aroma with strong hints of strawberry, raspberry and floral. VERY SMOOTH, medium body with just a tad of creaminess; a mouth-filling taste with lots of fruit, crisp acidity, tantalizing mineral that was as smooth as velvet. WOW (in bold caps)…this has to go near the top of the list of all-time best Rosé wines we have had…it was MEMORABLE!!! It went well with the hot dog lunch and it was OUTSTANDING drinking alone. Superb Rosé that’s a GREAT value. Do I recommend it? YES, this is a special wine.

She said: Clear, apricot color. Lots of thin irregularly spaced legs. Fabulously floral aroma that invites you to enter into the full flavored creamy mouth-feel with just enough crisp tartness to keep it interesting. The long finish continued the delicious flavors and modulated out to a tantalizing end. I don’t usually regard hot dogs as a good wine pairing, but this Rosé stood up to the test. I suspect it might be good with most food and I would buy it again in a flash, especially if I was having an oddball dinner for a crowd. Perhaps not a bargain by our criterion but I strongly recommend it.
